Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) stands for “automatic guided vehicle.” An AGV/unmanned transport vehicle (UGV) is a transport vehicle equipped with an 自动导引车 (AGV) that can travel along a specified path, equipped with safety features and various transfer functions. It falls under the category of wheeled mobile robots.

Battery operating temperature: The recommended operating temperature for batteries is -20°C to 45°C, with an extreme temperature range of -40°C to 65°C (with self-heating or air conditioning). The charging temperature is above 0°C.

How can battery safety be ensured? Are there any battery protection measures?

1. We select the best quality battery cells on the market – Guoxuan and Yiwei (accident rate is less than one in a million);
2. The battery compartment is built-in to effectively avoid battery damage caused by external impact;
3. Equipped with a BMS battery management system to effectively avoid overcharging, over-discharging, overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature and other situations that may cause accidents.

(1) High degree of automation; controlled by computers, electronic control equipment, laser reflectors, etc. When auxiliary materials are needed in a certain part of the workshop, the staff inputs the relevant information into the computer terminal, which then sends the information to the central control room. Professional technicians send instructions to the computer, and with the cooperation of the electronic control equipment, the instructions are finally accepted and executed by the AGV – the auxiliary materials are delivered to the corresponding location.

(2) Charging automation; when the AGV car’s battery is about to run out, it will send a request instruction to the system, requesting charging (generally, technicians will set a value in advance), and automatically go to the charging place to “queue” for charging after the system allows it. In addition, the AGV car’s battery life is very long (more than 10 years), and it can work for about 4 hours for every 15 minutes of charging.

(4) Convenient and reduces floor space; the AGV car in the production workshop can shuttle back and forth between various workshops.
